Stress-O-Pedic employs a state of the art process used for today’s manufacturing and upholstery of mattresses. With the invention of high end premium foam encased products like ours, using old methods of attaching upholstery materials and covers with staples and clips is no longer practical.

Out With the Old...
This old method was somewhat adequate when attaching to steel coils and border rods. Many manufactures still attempt this older method of construction on newer foam encased products with poor results in the performance and longevity of their products. Staples and clips made of wire were not designed to hold to soft pliable foam products.

The Long Lasting Benefits of Lamination
The feature benefits of a fully laminated product such as ours are that all layers of our mattress are completely bonded together from the bottom up. This eliminates the age old problem of cover stretch and shifting of upholstery layers.

Although this method of construction is more costly and time consuming than our competitors construction, Stress-O-Pedic feels this is the only true way to achieve a product with superior performance and lasting quality.
